Board of Directors

In accordance with the Broadcasting Act, the Board of Directors is responsible for the management of the Corporation. The Board is made up of 12 members, including the Chair and the President and CEO of CBC/Radio-Canada.

Guillaume Aniorté

Guillaume Aniorté was appointed to the Board of Directors of CBC/Radio-Canada on April 3, 2018, for a five-year term.

A renowned entrepreneur, investor and professional in the digital industry, Guillaume currently works as a strategic advisor to executives and organizations in that sector.

For over 20 years, he has held various executive and strategic management positions with innovative, new-economy companies. From 2014 to 2017, he served as Vice-President of Strategic and Corporate Development with Frima, one of Canada’s largest digital entertainment studios. In 2004, he co-founded Tribal Nova, a company that specializes in developing and operating educational online services for kids, which he co-led until its acquisition by the international publishing group HMH in 2013. As an executive or producer, he also oversaw the development of media companies such as Inpix Media, Public Technologie Multimédia and Communications Voir.

Guillaume currently sits on the boards of Montreal’s annual event Digital Spring, as well as La Piscine, an organization dedicated to supporting entrepreneurs in the cultural and creative industries.

Guillaume is a graduate of the Institut d’études politiques d’Aix-en-Provence with a concentration in media and communication.
