Researcher, columnist/interviewer, webmaster, Espace musique

Since 2011, I've been a researchyer, webmaster, columnist and interviewer with Espace.mu. My duties are quite varied. I develop themed web radio services, conduct interviews for the Lu/Vu/Entendu section, write blog entries, and suggest musical programming. I also place all new releases in rotation on the various jazz and classical web radio stations, and sit on Espace musique’s charts committee, which meets weekly.

I began working at CBC/Radio-Canada in 1988 and have found a home for myself at Espace musique (formerly known as Chaîne culturelle). I've tried my hand at producing, research, programming and coordination, working on a variety of projects along the way, such as the creation of Espace jazz and Espace.mu. You could say my experience runs the gamut of musical styles and I've performed just about every conceivable role at Espace musique. This makes it easy for me to cover for teammates in a pinch. I love having this versatility, along with the chance to show it.

When you work for CBC/Radio-Canada, you have to be curious, passionate, open-minded and willing to give your all. It's a place full of opportunities to do new and exciting things. I'm very stimulated by the prospect of having so many avenues to explore.

“I love Radio-Canada and especially the content it airs - from panel discussions to art reports and, of course, music.”
