Web Content Management, Internet and Digital Services, Radio-Canada

I've been working at CBC/Radio-Canada for 14 years. I started out as a researcher, beat reporter and host at Première Chaîne. In 2000, I moved to Internet and Digital Services. Since last summer, I've been with Radio-Canada.ca's music section, which brings together our musical content on radio, television and the Web.

I'd dreamed of working at CBC/Radio-Canada since I was a kid. I did some student radio, and I knew I wanted to work with the public broadcaster. I didn't think it would come so quickly. I thought I would have to start out in the regions and work my way up through other radio stations. In the end, I was hired for a three-month internship and I never left!

In my opinion, CBC/Radio-Canada stands out because its employees are so well rounded. It's an environment where people are urged to outdo themselves. CBC/Radio-Canada employees keep up with the latest news and trends. People here express their views, and say it when they like or don't like something. I find that very enriching.
