Important tips for Using and Understanding our Coverage Maps (Close Window)
- Click on the button closest to your location, then select the service you're interested in learning about.
- A contour map will open (in PDF format) displaying the service areas covered by CBC or Radio-Canada transmitters.
- Red stars represent transmitter locations. The circles around those stars represent the service area covered by transmitters. Blue circles represent CBC or Radio-Canada digital transmitter coverage area. Green circle represent affiliated station coverage area. For details, refer to the legend at the bottom right of each map).
- If your location falls within a coverage area (i.e. within a circle),chances are you'll be able to receive over-the-air service. But keep in mind that contours provide only an approximation of the service areas. The environment, topography, and/or interference may affect reception, even within the displayed contours.
