RCInet.ca: A fully revamped site – Discover Canada through the eyes of Radio Canada International

April 23, 2013, Montreal

The Radio Canada International website has a brand new look. Visit RCInet.ca today for full details on events and issues important to Canada. Also discover the Canadian point of view on current affairs.

RCInet.ca is a CBC/Radio-Canada service available in five languages: English, French, Spanish, Arabic and Chinese. The site reflects the country’s diversity and lets visitors discover, understand and gain perspective on the reality of Canadian society and its democratic, cultural and social values.

The revamped Radio Canada International site helps forge ties between Canadians and people around the world. The site is aimed at Internet users who know little or nothing about Canada. RCInet.ca is an interactive medium with a public forum for connecting and conversing with others, especially through Facebook and Twitter (@RCInet). Users can also listen to the weekly program The Link and subscribe to the Cybermagazine to follow the latest stories posted online.

With the tabs Highlights, In Depth and Discovering Canada, users can quickly find all the content that interests them. Whether they’re looking for news stories (articles, reports, videos, photos) or RCI’s special reports and webseries (Democracy and Religion, Eye on the Arctic, Me, the Muslim Next Door), they’ll be thrilled by their visit and amazed by the site’s efficiency. Also worth a look is a dynamic new feature called Explore Canada that lets users visit our country by car, boat, plane or train, as well as on foot and from space.
