CBC/Radio-Canada podcast catalogue now available on Spotify

The launch includes Canadian and international distribution

CBC/Radio-Canada has announced that it will make select podcasts from the national public broadcaster’s award-winning catalogue available on Spotify, expanding the reach of many of Canada’s top podcasts to Spotify’s 183 million users globally.

This partnership will ensure that our original podcasts will inform, enlighten and entertain more listeners than ever before.”

CBC podcasts are now available to free and premium Spotify users under the podcast hub and browse section. More information on the launch date for Radio-Canada’s podcasts will be shared in the new year.

CBC/Radio-Canada is currently the #1 podcaster in Canada*, reaching more Canadians than any other podcast publisher. With more than 20 series in genres including investigative reporting and true crime,

comedy, human interest and audio fiction, CBC Podcasts are downloaded 16 million** times per month.

The launch will see award-winning CBC/Radio-Canada podcasts available on the Spotify platform, including; CBC favourites Someone Knows Something, Uncover: Escaping NXIVM, Finding Cleo, Alone: A Love Story and Love Me, and new offers such as Tai Asks Why, The Secret Life of Canada, and Front Burner, an original daily news podcast hosted by award-winning journalist Jayme Poisson, and popular Radio-Canada titles; Disparue(s), Corde sensible, Grand écart and Ça s’explique.
