Then Alberta Premier Peter Lougheed filled a $2.75 million dollar libel lawsuit against the CBC immediately following the airing of the documentary. I am also particularly interested in the out-of-court settlement to the libel case reached between the CBC and Premier Lougheed reached around May 10 1982. I would like to request any and all documents related to the terms of this settlement including the "Minutes of Settlement" and any internal reaction leading up to and reacting to this settlement. |
