This executive resigned from her post as Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) on March 31, 2009, and took on the role of Special Advisor to the CEO from April 1 to August 31, 2009. As Special Advisor, this executive assured the effective transition to the new Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer, who began her duties on April 1, 2009, and assisted the CEO in completing various projects.

As such, this executive was expected to travel to the networks in Toronto and Montréal, as required, to deliver on her mandate. Other business travel was sometimes required on an ad hoc basis. The Special Advisor attended Senior Executive Team meetings five times a year in Toronto, Montréal or Ottawa, and meetings of the Corporation’s Board of Directors six times a year across the country.
